How to make a birthday cake fit for a 5 year old Princess.

1. Put your signature on your work.

2. ENJOY~ squeeze the bag with a smile to get the most of your decorating experience. Layers of icing are GOOD!

3. Pile on the sugar in all of your favorite colors! It helps to let Momma's friend help you instead of Momma. Miss Jenny encourages creativity and has the coolest decorations.

4. Add edible pearls, sprinkles, white chocolate hearts and the letters of your name made of different colored chocolates. Adore your cake and talk about it for days. Put 5 candles on it and show it off to your adoring fans, (the pride of one precious little girl!) When mom is not looking pitch icing off the piles. She probably won't mind anyway cause a girl only turns 5 once!

Great idea, Melanie. I love it. She will never forget making her own cake! Unlike the prefab ones that they never remember...

Oh,how this makes me miss when my kids were little. My sweet Lauren (15 now) used to "help" me in the kitchen all the time. She loved to make "coctions" she called them...big giant messes is what I called them. But how I would love to go back for just one afternoon and enjoy what you have in these pictures. Thank you for taking me back to such a sweet time with my children. Thank you for sharing!!! She is ADORABLE!!

Blessings,

Wendy
